Rising West Training Camp Experience

Delivering a new opportunity to Middle School Players who are looking to make the jump to high school and beyond.

Our 2024 Boys Rising West Training Camp Experience is designed for 7th – 8th boys who desire high level, in-depth, and up-tempo training led by top college coaches. Staying true to the Rising Showcase series principals of “Compete & Get Better”, our middle school Training Camp training is designed to maximize reps and touches and will consist of:

-Individual Positional skill and technique drills

-Small-sided, up-tempo, and situational concepts

-Game Play

-Led by College Coaches

Our goal is to continue to develop the core skills and lacrosse IQ of young players to push them to become better lacrosse players with the intent on preparing them for the jump to high school lacrosse.

PLAYER & FAMILY EDUCATION:

In addition to our on-field training, our camp is designed to educate players and their families about the journey ahead in high school lacrosse and collegiate recruiting. This is NOT a college recruiting event however our goal is that each player leaving our camp will have a better sense of what will be expected of him in the next 12-18 months as he starts to begin his college recruiting journey.

PERSONALIZED FILM BREAKDOWN AVAILABLE:

Film from our event will be available and each player attending will have the opportunity to obtain a personalized film evaluation from a college coach which will include a breakdown of his play during the games. Players will receive a written evaluation along with actual game cuts to review. This is a tremendous teaching opportunity to have a college coach breakdown and evaluate your actual game film.

The power of teaching and learning through film is undeniable. The Rising West Training Camp Experience will give players the same opportunities to learn and improve their play through film education as do players in college.
