Seth Jacoby joins 3d as our Division III National Director. Prior to joining 3d, Seth was an assistant lacrosse coach at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.

During his coaching tenure, Wesleyan’s defense was consistently one of the best in the NESCAC and in the country. As part of the defensive staff, Seth helped mold the Cardinals team that made it to the NESCAC Conference final in 2013 and finished a great 2014 regular season ranked second in the conference (behind eventual 2014 Division III National Champion Tufts).

In his run at Wesleyan, Seth had his in hand in coaching five defensive All-Americans, including 2013 First Team All-American and National Defensive Short Stick Midfielder of the Year Sam Stanton and two time All-American LSM Brendan Hanley. Seth was also an assistant football coach at Wesleyan, focusing on the defensive backfield. He helped Wesleyan to winning a share of the NESCAC title for the first time in over 40 years.

Prior to Wesleyan, Seth was heavily involved with Glastonbury High School (CT) where he spent more than a decade as an assistant football coach and worked with GHS lacrosse and youth programs. Over the past 15 years Seth has worked with countless numbers of players and families throughout Connecticut assisting them through the complex and often confusing recruiting process.

In addition to his Division III assistant coaching duties, Seth has been a regular on the camp/clinic circuit for years. He’s coached at all levels of youth lacrosse as a director, player evaluator and coach.

A 1986 graduate of Glastonbury High, Seth garnered All-State/All-American awards at quarterback and led the team to its first ever state title.

Seth went onto attend Dartmouth College where he lettered in football as an outside linebacker. Following graduation from Dartmouth in 1990, Seth was a player/coach for the Marseille Phoceens football team in France. He played linebacker and coordinated the defense, helping lead his team to the French National Division Championship with a 15-0 record.

Seth resides in Glastonbury, where he has been a practicing attorney in Connecticut. He and his wife Mairead have two children.
